Brittany Harpool

Brittany grew up riding in the Kansas City area competing in the Hunters/Jumpers and the Equitation. She finished her Junior career at AHSA Medal Finals and accepting a riding scholarship at Virginia Intermont College (now Emory and Henry). There she had the opportunity to compete on the IHSA, IDA, ANRC and International Student Riding Teams.

After college Brittany had the opportunity to work for Wilhelm Genn and learn the ins and outs of managing a string of Grand Prix horses on the road. Afterwards she worked for Joey Brumbaugh to learn managing and preparing horses for clients. She then spent two years primarily as a professional rider where she competed at the Grand Prix level and at the Inaugural Derby Finals in Kentucky. At this time she decided it was time to start her own program that focused on quality care and training for horse and rider with individualized programs for each pair.

Olympia Equine Ventures, LLC has to continue to learn and grow and has found a balance with groundwork, flat work and over fence training. We strive for our horses and riders to be well rounded and happy so they have long and successful careers in whatever they do.

Robbi Bainbridge

Bringing a vast background of knowledge starting and training horses in South Africa to Kansas, Robbi focuses on behavioral issues and rehabilitation of mind and body for both horses and humans using natural horsemanship os her expertise. Whether that be young horses going under saddle for the first time, owners who have never handled a horse before, or a sudden problem horse who used to be safe enough for beginners that have developed unsafe behaviors.

She highly values the relationship of horse and rider, building tools for them to handle a variety of situations and navigating the highs and lows of building confidence, safety and security.

Robbi applies her skills to all clients from beginners with no interest in ribbons all the way up to Grand Prix. She grew up riding Eventing horses and started her transition to Western upon her arrival to the USA from South Africa. She teachers with great enthusiasm, a wealth of knowledge, highly applicable tips and tricks… all with the end goal of maintaining love and compassion for the horse and rider.
